Mission Statement:
In being a culinary enthusiast myself, I believe in a utilitarian approach to kitchen design. By assigning functionality to designated grouped areas, namely Produce/Larder, Preparation/Cooking, and Cleaning/Utilities, one can maximize ease of access and ergonomic flow in the work-space. This is a tried and tested philosophy used in assembly lines for some time now. Once the "Form Follows Function" foundation is established, the carefully considered cosmetic elements can be applied to the design, masking any unsightly industrial elements as necessary, while enriching the overall impression. With mindful attention to detail throughout, this process inevitably results in spaces which are intrinsically beautiful and comfortable to command, (whereas design which puts style first, may end up being impractical.)
This aim is implemented as best as possible within the spacial and budgetary limitations of each project.
BossKitchens is also proud to announce expansion to further regions in S.A. with a Johannesburg and Cape Town branch as of January 2017.
Additionally, a focus on modular, small space builds is being explored, creating multi-functional spaces with minimal conversion effort, perfect for the limited and costly CPT market as well as the discerning adventurous JHB clientele. We hope, as pioneers of this forward-thinking in our Country, to change the way people think about comfort versus utility.
BossKitchens is always looking forward to new and exciting challenges, striving to ensure a personalized and quality assured service, customized to client needs. Our Facebook site invites visitors to post inspirational ideas and innovations in bespoke furniture and timber application, in the hope that future contracts may push our portfolio and expertise to new heights.
BossKitchens has proudly joined https://www.homify.co.za, and promptly had an editorial article posted on their site, relating to the kitchen renovation done in Orchards, near Norwood in Johannesburg, as assisted by Mike Feinstein from Made For Construction ([email protected]). Here is a link to that article, which has since been translated into a myriad languages, and posted internationally:

"> Another BIG thank you for the incredible job with my new kitchen. I love it!
You were the only contractor who listened to what I wanted and worked with my (fairly meagre) budget to create something that was even better than I'd hoped for. Your pedanticness on detail and constant communication gave me total
peace of mind that everything was well taken care of .
And it was. Muchos gracias!<"

Though modern materials were used, the new kitchen is soft and welcoming, allowing maximum utilities, with minimal view obstruction.
Kitchen revamp in Greenside - An outdated kitchen transformed to a fusion modern/country style space finished with White Enamel elements. The job also rquired invasive construction elements such as installing a double door in place of a single door, installation of new appliances and lighting, as well as the upcycling of some existing kitchen elements.

Though reasonably functional, this kitchen was drab and dim. The owner wished for a far mor practical space, which rflected the enlighvened spirit of their family.
